Momma Ponzini has taken control!

Hello to all our faithful subscribers. The Ponzini Family would like to formally apologize to all of you who saw 2008 begin and end without an update to our website. 2008 was a very busy, fulfilling and fun year for all of us, with many exciting happenings and changes for our family.

Chris started out 2008 with a new job, then soon after got a motorcycle, then we started house hunting, followed by a whirlwind family reunion thanks to Grammy getting married. The closing on the house and moving in process brought some more challenges and then Lou started a 5 day a week pre-school. By the time we all got used to the new routines, we were headed into the last few months of the year. Then in the midst of holiday chaos, we found out that we were expecting. Chris and I were able to celebrate this joyus news for our 3rd anniversary, which we spent in Pensacola on vacation.....and then we were just consumed with the momentous task of decorating this big house for our first Christmas here.

So there you go, hope you all had a great 2008!!

Just kidding, I won't leave you without some new pictures. Those will be posted by guesstimatation of what month they took place. Oh, and that reminds me of the other big change......I have been schooled in "the ways of the blog" by my very capable but busy husband, so I will now be able to take part in updating our website more often. Any and all complaints should still be forwarded to Chris though, I'm new to this so be nice to me!!

With lots of love,

Momma Ponzini

New Baby - Coming Summer 2009

Like I said in an earlier post, we found out the happy news in November that I am expecting my third (and probably last) child. It's still hard to convince me of that fact some days because, at least I personally, don't feel pregnant if I'm not throwing up all the time and suffering pregnancy complications. This pregnancy has been a breeze compared to my first two. I've had some major bouts of nausea but they've only amounted to me being sick on 3 occasions (so far). I remember when I was pregnant with Lou, I lost 10 lbs. in just my first trimester because I was so sick with him.

My back does bother me a lot, but I think that has more to do with the workload I keep up with, rather than my pregnancy. I had only gained about 5 lbs. as of my 13 week check up and the doctor says the baby is right on target for size. So far so good, can't really ask for any more than that!

Now, I've had two people tell me that this baby already looks like Lou. I guess I can see some similarities with the shape of the face, but aren't all babies shaped like that???

Full front and back of my little one.....still has lots of room to move around.

And my favorite picture......looks like Baby is sucking "her" thumb. And yes, I refer to baby as a girl, because that is what I am hoping for. I'm ready and willing to take on both the blessing and the challenge that would be mine in raising a baby girl!!

We should be finding out "he or she" sometime toward the end of February.......stay posted for updates!!!
