We finally find out......boy or girl???

The end of February 2009 was a very exciting time for me. At the 20 week ultrasound we finally found out that we are expecting a GIRL!!!! Anyone who's known me for awhile can truly understand what a blessing this is and how very thankful I am to have my prayers answered. It has been a long 11 years that I have waited and I am overjoyed to have the final missing piece to fill my heart!!!

I turned 29 a week after receiving this joyus news so for my birthday I treated myself to a box of red haircolor, haha. Figured I'd enjoy the last year of my 20's by having a little fun. Here's my attempt at taking my own belly shot.....I need longer arms!!

South Carolina snow.....a rare event!

We had the first snow in February in our new house!!! It was very exciting to have school be cancelled so Lou, Plato and I could just stay home and have some fun!

Here is the first picture of our house covered in snow:




This is the first snowman Momma and Lou ever built together. He might not be too impressive to all our northern friends, but with a mere dusting of snow (that puts all these southerners into a panic.....mind you) this was all the effort I was going to give to Mr. Snowman. He melted away by that afternoon anyway, haha.





Plato was also very curious about the snow.





As you can see, Lou and Plato did quite a bit of exploring together that morning.

Who can't use a good nap after all that fun!?!
